Both in situ and in vitro samples can be used for Protein Tomography™. The resulting tomograms provide a comparison between specimens and species models, e.g. human, rat, mouse and recombinant proteins. The two types of samples need different preparations, and standarized techniques are used for this.
E.g. cell cultures and tissue biopsies.
E.g. proteins in buffer solution.
