(May 27, 2008 07:56 AM)Sidec announces that the application form for the 2008 Protein Tomography™ Award is now available at Sidec’s homepage. The winning application will be offered a Protein Tomography™ study in collaboration with Sidec. A Protein Tomography™ study is typically in the range of 0.1 and 0.5 million Euro and will be funded by Sidec.

During the past 12 months, Sidec has doubled the number of employees by recruiting additional Protein Tomography™ analysts, sales representatives and expanding its Marketing and R&D teams.

(Sep 17, 2007 11:10 AM)Life at Sidec is busier than ever. This summer, we’ve recruited more staff scientists to the Protein Tomography lab to cope with the increasing number of research partnership projects, and bolstered both our US and European teams with new staff members.
Soon you’ll be seeing more from Sidec in the area of antibody therapeutics, including conference presentations and feature articles in Nature Biotechnology and Nature Reviews Drug Discovery.
Last but not least, Sidec gets a new company name and a new logo – we dropped the word ’Technologies’ from our name, since we’ve now grown up to be a solutions provider to the pharmaceutical discovery business. Check out our new website at www.sidec.com.

(Nov 21, 2006 01:20 PM)Several methods are available for the study of antibody-antigen complexes. Present techniques, however, rely on indirect measurements of antibody binding, and do not reveal any information on what the antibody-antigen complex and possible associated proteins look like. Protein Tomography™ makes it possible, for the first time, to see antibodies free or bound to their target, both in solution and in tissue. To see the article, please click on the link,
